 PRACTICE YOUR OWN SALVATION

 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Philippians 2:12 NKJV

It's very important, for all children of God, to make a decision to practice their own salvation. You must make this decision and follow through with it, because nobody will do it for you. When see the truth about you in the scriptures, refuse to just read it and pass it by. No. Take it up as your personal life.

It's true you have known yourself since you were born from your mother, but you have not known who you now are since you were born from God. Only God let's you know. And He does this through His Word. The revelation from the scriptures by the Holy Spirit. When you see this truth, don't ignore it.

Believe the truth as personally true for you, irrespective of what you've thought before, or how you've lived before. Then go ahead and begin to practice that life as yours. It might seem shaky at first, but with just some practice in the Spirit, you'll master that life. You know why?

Because it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. (Philippians 2:13 NKJV). Believe that the Word of God is true for you, without having to make effort to make it true, then practice the Word of God as your only life. In this way, you'll grow and make progress in your life. 

Affirmation: I believe that God's Word is true concerning me, simply because He said it, and I'm His child. I don't need to do anything to make God's word true for me. Now I practice the truth, living the life of the Word as my only life, mastering it by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus name. Amen.
