PRAYER BIRTHS DELIVERANCE
For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Philippians 1:19 NKJV
Apostle Paul was so confident that everything happening around him at the time, -from his persecution by the Jews, to his detention in prison for several months,-that everything would work or for his deliverance. This deliverance however, was going to come from the prayers of the Christians in Philippi,
Through their prayers and supply of the Spirit. Their prayer, would cause the deliverance of apostle Paul from wicked and unreasonable men. Remember the parable Jesus told starting in Luke 18:1, that men ought always to pray and not to lose heart or give up.
We can take a cue from the experience of the early church, when James was arrested and beheaded. Peter was also arrested, and was awaiting his own beheading. However, the Bible records that prayer was offered without ceasing from the church. (Acts 12:5).
Indeed, God intervened and sent an angel through whom Peter was delivered. But that deliverance came when the church prayed. Don't just fold your hands in life. The necessary deliverance is waiting for your commitment to prayer! Give yourself to payers for life. Glory to God!
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you because you have called me to pray with results. I never pray in vain. Indeed, my prayers, fervent and effective produce a lot of results by the Spirit. Thank you dear Father in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
