YOU'VE BECOME WHAT YOU'VE SEEN

Dear friends, we are already God’s children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.

1 John 3:2 NLT

Apostle John says, we know we will be like Christ when He appears, for we will see Him as He really is. We know we will be like Him, because we will see Him as He really is. This is a beautiful revelation. That what we will be when we see Him, is simply what we see. 

This means that what we are now, is what we have seen! And what we will become, is what we will see! The principle of spiritual transformation, is hinged on beholding. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2 Corinthians 3:18).

You see, you will be transformed into what you keep beholding. You will be changed into what you keep looking at, and meditating on in your mind. It doesn't matter whether you are aware that you're meditating upon that thing. The picture you hold up in your mind is a mould for your life.

Do you want your life to look more and more like Christ everyday? Then don't stop seeing Him. He is revealed expressly in His word. And as you behold, the Spirit of Christ transforms you into that image, from glory to glory. Hallelujah!

Affirmation: I choose to continue to behold the glory of God! The glory in His word and in His presence. I refuse to drop my gaze to something else. Christ remains on my mind, in my thoughts, in my meditation, and I'm transformed to His image. In Jesus mighty name. Amen.
