OUR COMMUNION WITH HIM STOPS SIN
Anyone who continues to live in him will not sin. But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.
1 John 3:6 NLT
Many people struggle with living a righteous life. They want to, but they still struggle with it. The real mistake they make often however, is allowing their struggle make them stay away from God. Many times because of guilt, and the feeling of condemnation, a person hides from prayer and the study of the word.
Many people are deceived into believing that they are not worthy enough to pray or study because of the sin they've committed. What they don't realise is that the devil is telling them this lie, to keep them in the matrix.
The only way to stop the sin, is to continue your fellowship with Him! Anyone who continues to live in fellowship with Him, will not continue in sin! But when you allow your fellowship with Him to be stopped for whatever reason, it only means the sin will continue!
Guilt does not save. Sad emotions do not help overcome sin. Only one person does. His name is Jesus Christ. He lives in you through the Holy Spirit, and His active presence in you squeezes out the desire and ability to perform sin. So you want to live in righteousness? Then continue fellowshipping with Him!
Prayer: Dear Father, I thank you for the revelation of your word. I refuse to hide from your presence. For in fellowship with you, there is deliverance, and freedom from struggle. Thank you Lord for your word that transforms me. I love you dear Lord, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
