EXPECT TRIALS
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;
I Peter 4:12 NKJV
You know, it's easy for many people to jump and rejoice when they hear stuff like "though you pass through the fire, it will not hurt you, and through the water it will not drown you". They rejoice at such word of God. But ironically, the moment they experience a little fire and water, they begin to question God like He has abandoned them.
Such attitude to trials isn't good at all. An educated Christian should understand that trials and challenges are a part of our Christian journey here on earth. Jesus said so Himself. In this world we would have trials.
What then should be your attitude to trials and challenges? It should be the attitude of a victor. Be filled with a hope that will never fail. Why? Because the Lord already made it clear how the story will end whenever we are in the face of any challange. It will end in victory for us.
The only thing that we have to do is to ensure that we remain walking in the Spirit. Because, that's where our victory is. Our victory is in the Holy Spirit and the word of God. If we stick to the Holy Spirit and the word of God, we will definitely finish victorious! Glory to God.
Affirmation: I am reborn from Christ to win consistently over this world. I cannot fail. Irrespective of whatever challenges and circumstances I face. By the power of the Holy Spirit, and the word of God, there's only one outcome for me. It is victory! Glory to God! I'm full of hope!
