Sir, there are so many voices on Earth, only one is reliable. You hear all kinds of voices. You hear the voice of nature; the voice of your friends; the voice of economy; the voice if circumstances; the voice of foundation but only one is reliable.
I was in Lagos surrounded by all daughters of Eve, then the Lord said “your wife is not here… go home!” My right eye was already eyeing somebody. I was eyeing the person because the person had three cars – medical doctor and only daughter of a billionaire. I said 'ministry settled'.
I said 'when I marry this one I will show my people'. God said 'go home… your wife is not here’. Two days after that sir, I went to the park, I said 'I'm going home'… a part of me will say 'is that not a wife?'
It was the cars I was looking at. I was a resident pastor and my pastor would mention the tithe; the lady's tithe was the biggest. So I was imagining if I was the one collecting the tithe. I was eyeing her but God said 'your wife is not here’.
So I went home, I went to see my father. I told my father, I said ‘I was coming'. As I was walking out I saw a lady washing her clothes and I heard God say 'that is your wife’.
Eeeh? Washing clothes? Under a tree? How? I came all the way from Lagos. Few days to my wedding, somebody told me, he said 'I will pay all the money you have spent, don’t go ahead.’ I heard the voice of God and today it is clear. I’m a happy man!
