THE BEAUTY OF PRAISE
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. Psalms 100:4 (NKJV)
The call to praise God is one of the most beautiful privileges He gave to us as His children. To praise God is to express our gratitude and thanksgiving to Him according to the way He asked us to.
It's one of the purest forms of worship, because it focuses not on you and what you'll get in return, but just focuses on Him and the expression of thanks to Him.
One thing that happens when we praise God as He instructed us to is an increase in our awareness of His presence. When you offer praise to Him, somehow you just know that He's right there with you and that you're before Him.
And so maybe you've been in doubt as to how close He is to you, or as to how much He's got His eyes on you. If you'd just release praise to God, His presence will clear your doubts, and you'll know He's right there with you.
Prayer: Father I thank you, for your wonderful love and presence with me. I thank you Lord because you have kept me and preserved me. You have kept us and preserved your word. You are worthy of praise. Blessed be your name in Jesus name. Amen
