LET THE GOALS BE DEFINED
Therefore I do not run without a definite goal; I do not flail around like one beating the air [just shadow boxing]. 1 Corinthians 9:26 AMP
Have you thought of the importance of setting out definite goals and practical plans to achieve the goals? Life is actually not scattered. It's just that we have many people who live daily without a definite goal or purpose to achieve.
Observe the NLT translation of our theme verse. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. 1 Corinthians 9:26 NLT. Isn't that striking. I run with purpose in ever step. That means for apostle Paul, every action taken, has a definite known desired result it should achieve.
Why wouldn't productivity be guaranteed. Should this be any less for us? Definitely not! This devotional is a product of definite goals which have been set and followed up with practical steps. If you want to be maximally productive, you must have defined goals, with defined times for achievement.
After defined goals with defined times of achievement, you must also have practical steps to achieving the set out goals. It's in the following of these practical steps that the goals become a reality. It's not going to happen by magic. And when you live like this, it will be very difficult for you to miss your goals.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank you for your wisdom to me on how to increase my productivity. Defined goals in defined times, with practical steps for achievement. Thank you Lord, by your grace it's possible! In Jesus name. Amen.
