FAITHFULNESS
Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”? James 4:5
The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously. This means God is jealous over us. He doesn't want to, and will not share our hearts with anything or anyone who is not Him. This is the mindset and character of God. He yearns that we stay and remain faithful.
This is a product of His love for us, because too many foul persons in the spiritual and physical realm seek to take advantage of us negatively. God wants us to learn to love and remain in His love only.
Observe Hosea 3:1 (Then the LORD said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the LORD for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.”), you can just see the heart of the Lord.
He's looking for people who will willingly choose Him over whatever the world and others have to offer. Are you such a person? Does the Lord have the chief spot in your heart? Jesus seeks those who will be faithful to Him, so choose to be uncontaminated from this world.
Affirmation: I know the desire of the Lord towards me. To be free from wrongs, sins and contaminations of this world. I choose to be faithful in my walk with the Lord, and to keep myself from this world in Jesus name. Amen
