OUR AIM
Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 2 Corinthians 5:9
The Bible says we were created for the pleasure of God. In other words, we were created to please God. In the world, there are so many things that are not pleasing to God.
And these things try to influence us to live our lives in a manner that would be unpleasing to God. This means that if we do not become very intentional about being pleasing to Him,
we might end up being unpleasant to Him, and not even realise it yet. This is why we must become very intentional about being pleasing to God. We have to make it our aim to live our life in a manner that pleases Him.
And how do we know the kind of life that would please God? It's the life the word of God encourages us to live. A life of faith expressed through love. So choose to live for Him. You're created for His glory. You are created for His pleasure.
Affirmation: Dear Lord, I choose to live everyday for your pleasure. I choose to be that child in whom you are well pleased. I thank you for your grace effectively at work in me to help me live for you. Glory to your holy name in Jesus name. Amen
