SO LONG WITHOUT KNOWING?

“If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” John 14:7

If you'd known me, you'd have known my Father also! Stirring words Jesus spoke to people who had been with Him for nearly 3 years and counting. How could they spend that much time with Him and still not know Him?

Same way it's possible to spend that much time in the church and still not know God. Same way it is possible to spend that much in a Christian home and still not know Christ.

Same way it is possible to spend that much time owning a Bible and still not know the word. Because the disciples knew His name, and His village, but didn't have that revelation only the Holy Spirit can give. 

That revelation comes only when you worship Christ in Spirit and truth. Refuse to be general. Seek to know God, and He'll reveal Himself to you. Be blessed.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for the grace to know you. I thank you for revealing yourself to me. I worship you dear Lord for your Holy Spirit in me, who leads me in all truth. Dear Lord, I choose to know you more. Precious Holy Spirit, reveal Christ to me, in Jesus name I pray. Amen!
