THE POWER IS IN HIS WORD

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power,.... Hebrews 1:3

It's very true that you receive the power of the Holy Spirit in your life as soon as the Holy Spirit takes His place in your heart, but many times, we see Christians who have received power, still live powerlessly. 

Sometimes, these persons even seem to have"intimidating" prayer lives, but then, they see little results after much Labour. The reason is this; the power of God can only be worked through the word of God. The word of God is a conduit for the power of God.

So a man who is shallow in the word, will have a lot, but will be totally clueless about utilising them. Life is so much simpler when the word is put in place. Many prayer points will cease or change when the word is known. 

The 'strive so much-for so little results' pattern will be past when the word is put in place. Because the word is wisdom and the word is power. Don't despise the word. Don't ignore the word. Don't just study the word. Practice the word. That's where the power is. You're blessed. TCF
