THE BONDAGE OF FEAR
and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:15
Fear is a captor. People are afraid of things because they do not want to be overcome by those things, and they don't know how to overcome those things. What this does is to bring them into bondage to the very things they are afraid of.
Because you'll only be afraid of something if you believe it can over power you, and that belief is what then plays out in your life. Jesus however has wrought victory over every scheme, system, or power whatsoever.
He brings this truth to us in the gospel. This victory is true and is real. And you become a partaker of it because of your allegiance to the one who wrought it.
However, you become a practicer of this victory, when you take the truth personal; as true in your own life. The same power which worked in Jesus also works in you, and your faith will be as effective as your knowledge and consciousness of this truth. You don't need to fear. You're blessed. TCF
