RESPECT EVERYONE
Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh. 1 Peter 2:18
Some people feel they should only respect their elders and only honour people above them. While you should do these, you must remember that respect and honour are for everyone you meet and encounter.
Don't wait for someone to be older than you or higher than you before you give respect and honour. Even the worldly men do that. And to respect and honour only those older or higher than you is a sense of pride.
You're now too big to respect those younger or less placed in the society than you? Such is not the life of Christ. Don't wait for respect to be given before you reciprocate it. In your dealings with people, simply be respectful.
That's what the life of the Spirit is about and that makes you stand out. Whether they are older, younger, higher, lesser, treat all men with a sense of respect. Remembering that they are people Jesus died for too. You're blessed. TCF
