HE WANTS TO BE WITH YOU
Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. Luke 7:7
Our theme verse is from an account of a certain centurion whose servant was sick. He had asked help from Jesus to heal his servant, and while Jesus was coming, he asked Him not to bother coming to his home.He felt he was not worthy anyways, but believed a word from Jesus would get his servant healed.
Now this was a display of faith, but here is one thing Jesus wants you to know; more than what He has to give to you, He wants to be with you. He wants you and Him to do life together. And just in case you’re like the centurion who believed he wasn’t worthy or qualified, Jesus has chosen you Himself.
“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” Colossians 1:12.You may feel unqualified, but Jesus has qualified you to be with Him. The moment He called you, He qualified you for the call. So don’t just hope for what you’ll get from Him.
He wants to give you more. He wants to give you Himself. Receive Jesus today. Believe in your heart that He’s the son of God, who died and rose for the forgiveness of your sins and your salvation. Then boldly declare what you believe. Do it now, and practice living with Him. He loves you and has gifted you Himself. You’re so blessed. TCF
