THE SACRIFICE OF OUR LIPS
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Hebrews 13:15
The words that we speak are very important to our lives and to God. The words which we utter are meant to sacrifices to God, sacrifices of praise. Beyond using our words to structure our lives and define the course which we trade, our words are fruits into God.
This simply means that we must ensure that our words are in line with the word and nature of God, and are acceptable to Him.The Bible says that they (we) overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of our testimony.
The word of our testimony actually talks about the testimony of Jesus on our lips. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice of God. So when we have Him as our testimony on our lips, then our words will also reflect God's perfect sacrifice to Him.
Our words as very important to God. They reveal our thoughts, knowledge and honour of Him. Let our words be acceptable to Him. Let our words be from of thanks to Him irrespective of the situation. Let our words tell of His life at work in us. Let us testify of Jesus only and keep ourselves in Him by our words. You're blessed
