THE WORD - THE POWER AND LIFE
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
We understand that the word of God is living and powerful. This reality is captured in the spoken word of God. The spoken word of God, that is the rhema of God, is life and is power. It’s not just living, it’s life itself (1John 1:1), and it’s not just just powerful, but it’s power itself. (Hebrew 1:3)
Any word released by the Spirit is the rhema of God. That’s the why Jesus said, the words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life. (John 6:63). The very same is also very true for us whenever we speak God’s Word by the Holy Spirit.
In fact, God’s Word can only be spoken by the Spirit, otherwise, it’s not of God. He asked, is My Word not like a fire to burn downand like a hammer to break in pieces the works of darkness (Jeremiah 23:29). That’s the power of the word, through the word of power. (Hebrew 1:3).
The same authority God’s Word has in Him is the same authority it has in you. When you release by the Spirit the Word of God, they are power and life!What have you done with the Word of God in you? Be blessed. TCF
