RESOLVE TO MAKE THINGS WORK
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; Philippians 2:12
Apostle Paul in our theme verse tells us to, “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling “. Though your salvation is a product of you accepting the works of Christ for you, and receiving Him into you, it’s not solely His responsibility to make your salvation work for you.
It’s actually your personal responsibility. That’s why he (Paul) says work out your own... That meansyou have the right and authority to ensure your own salvation bears fruit unto God.Now not just for your salvation, but for other aspects of your life. You have the responsibility and authority
to ensure that the various aspects of your life work out as planned by God too. Be it your career, relationship, finance, academics, spiritually or whatsoever. It’s your boat and you’re the captain.Don’t leave your business to time and chance. Don’t give up so quickly. Don’t expect others to do for you, what you should do for yourself.
Don’t become careless and nonchalant about the aspects of your life. Remain focused. Because truly, your life will only work under God, if you resolve against all odds that it would. You have the authority, so be wise and, in Christ take charge over all that concern you. You’re blessed. TCF
