BE A PRAYING PERSON
Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, Luke 18:1
In Christ, one of the blessings we received is the blessing of prayer. The call to and the ability to make potent and relevant prayers in the kingdom to make things happen. Jesus told an entire parable with one major lesson, that men should have prayer as a lifestyle.
Not just as a once in a while stuff but as an integral part of their daily living. You see there are lots of benefits in Christ, that you’ll never experience until you begin to pray daily, simply because prayer lifts you to that realm of life, where you experience Christ evidently. There are a lot of forces at work in the world, many are spiritual and a lot are evil,
seeking to take advantage of people. The first victims are men who don’t pray. They’ll be at the mercy of evil judges just like in the parable. (Luke 18:2). The problem for most Christians is not how much power they have received. But how much of it they’ve made available for work.
Prayer makes the power of God in you available for work in your life. (James 5:16). The simple truth is that in life, if you don’t have a consistent prayer life, you’ll be a regular victim of darkness, and your knowledge of God will be highly limited. Start praying daily today.
