TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIS GRACE
We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 Corinthians 6:1
In the first epistle of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians, He says, "but by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace towards me was not in vain;but I have laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was in me" (1 Corinthians 15:10).
So you see, he says, the grace of God towards him was not in vain. In other words, he utilised the grace of God made available to him.So it's possible to have grace supplied, and not utilise it. It's possible not to take advantage of the grace of God made available in one's life. In our theme verse, he pleads with them not to receive the grace of God in vain.
So one could actually receive grace, and still not utilise it.The grace of God, is God in you, enabling you to function by the divine. It's Christ working in you, to help you do more than you could do by your strength, and still be refreshed even in doing more, because of His rest.
Though Christ is working in you, decide to bring forth the fruits of His works in you. That's what it means to take advantage of His grace. Don't inhibit Him. Don't limit Him.Decide to go all the way with Him. Many times you'd observe a nudge to do more, even though you may be physically unequipped. Go do more regardless! Utilise His grace. You're blessed.
