JEWISH UNBELIEF 2
Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:29
Yesterday we learned about the Jewish unbelief. Those who request to sign before they believe whatever God says.Such is not faith because faith does not move by what is seen. The world says seeing is believing, but Faith says the exact opposite; believing is seeing.
What you believe is what you create; what you create is what is formed; what is formed is what you see.Christ doesn’t want us requesting a sign before we believe Him on anything. He wants us to believe Him blindly (I speak in a human sense) because in Christ, the Word is our sight.
Look at what Jesus told Thomas; "Thomas, because you have seen me you have believed. Blessed Are those who have not seen and yet have believed. Look at that. Thomas demanded a sign before believing that Jesus was risen. But then, Blessed are you who has not seen Jesus and yet you fully believe in His existence and resurrection.
If you could believe Christ like this, enough faith for salvation, why then would you doubt Him on other things.You have His Word, that’s all the sign you need to believe. Don’t accommodate unbelief. Just choose to believe Him, simply because it’s Him, Jesus Christ. You are blessed. TCF.
