REJECT WORLDLINESS 2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
Yesterday we saw how the spirit of the world, who is the spirit responsible for worldliness and who works in the sons of disobedience, tries so much to make worldliness the lifestyle and culture of the people, so that it looks no longer like an abnormality, but like in normal and socially accepted stuff.
His aim is to create a world which naturally does not glorify God. But we know we must reject his workings, and dominate our world for Christ. And today we see just how to do it. Be not conformed to this world, but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind.
You see, the only way we can truly reject worldliness, is if we keep our mind renewed, by remaining in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and to keep continually receiving of the ministry of the word. Because the spirit of the world seeks to corrupt minds by the normalness of worldly lifestyles. Therefore if we must not be conformed to the patterns of this world, in even the most subtitle of ways, then we must keep our mind renewed, by the word per time.
That way, we will live above the corruption in this World. Make the word you’re sure companion. Anything short of these leaves you vulnerable to be deceived and conform to the world. and you mustn’t! Renew your mind, reject worldliness no matter how acceptable it is now in your society! You’re a blessed TCF
