THE DANGERS OF IGNORANCE
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Because you have forgotten the law of your God,
I also will forget your children.
A great percentage of the problems Christians go through, happen because they are ignorant to truth as contained in the Word of God. Many times, Christians do not discipline themselves to sit with the Word of God, and learn from the Holy Spirit.
They just go about their daily businesses, being ignorant of the things in the Word. Sometimes, they go ahead to be fed with lies and false messages from very wrong sources, because false teachers are on the rise, even in these last days. The dangers of ignorance and lack of knowledge is destruction and defeat. Not that God would destroy His own people because they lack knowledge, no.
But due to their lack of knowledge, the people themselves will be causalities in the hands of Satan. Which is a very huge error in the body of Christ. Christ never planned that any of His children be victims to Satan. That's why He sent us His Holy Spirit to teach us, and He gave us His Word to learn from.
However, if one does not submit himself or herself to the tutelage of the Spirit, He will not force him, and as such, one ends up ignorant of the Word, becoming a casualty for Satan. Refuse to be such a person. Choose to get knowledge of God, through the Spirit and the Word, so you can live in your victory everyday. You're blessed. -TCF
