BE LIGHT CONSCIOUS
1 John 1:5
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
Having been moved from darkness to the kingdom of Light, we must be conscious of the light we are in and the light in us. (1 Peter 2:9). This Light is God. Many people make the mistake of becoming darkness conscious. They are in a room, and they are thinking about how many demons are around them.
They want to sleep, and they start thinking of the witches that may come to suck their blood. Someone sends them a gift, and they throw it away, because they think there must be some juju on it that could affect them. They even wake up at night to pray but they "remember that demons operate at night"... So "now it becomes less safe to pray at night". How pathetic and mediocre.
These above are very wrong mentalities and consciousnesses that we should not have. Instead of thinking of demons, think of the angels that surround you. They are innumerable! (Hebrews 12:22). Instead of thinking of witches, think of your brothers and sisters in Christ, who are praying and are in the race with you.
Instead of being afraid of a gift, think of the fact that you have the Holy Spirit in you. (1 John 3:24). And instead of thinking of the devils that roam at night, think of the fact that your God never sleeps nor slumbers (Psalm 121:4). God is light! In Him is no darkness. You are Light in Light, and Light dwells in you. Refuse to be darkness conscious. Remain conscious of the beauty of God's light, whom you are, and who dwells in you! Glory to God! -TCF
