DON'T JUST LIVE BY HOPE!
Hebrews 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
Too many Christians live in the realm of hope. Sadly, many people mistake hope to be faith and that's why they don't see the results they should've had. Hope is the wish or desire that a thing would be, but is not yet.
Hope desires for results in the future, and many times is uncertain about when exactly they would come. Hope does not believe or see that results are there already. Because if that which you hoped for is already received, then you wouldn't need to hope for them again. (Romans 8:24). Hope is nice, hope is good, but hope is not what we live by. Hope does not change results now.
Hope does not change situations in the now. Hope does not receive answers in the now. Hope keeps expecting, but isn't certain when it'll arrive. Hope is not where the reality of the power of God is in the now. For your life to be different, and full of the glory of God, you must move from hope to Faith. Faith is the now of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1). This means that in faith, you no longer hope for those things, but you believe they are yours already.
Hope will always keep you steps away from the change you need now, and from the answers you need now. If you must see change and receive answers, it is only by faith. Faith is simply believing that you have got that which you were hoping for. Faith is the reality of what was hoped for. You should only hope for things that are not in your jurisdiction at all, but if you have a place in it, then faith is the difference! Live by faith! You're Blessed. -TCF
