WHAT WE HAVE IS BEST!
1 Corinthians 15:45
And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
Since we came to Christ, we're used to hearing that we have a better covenant than the men of old, and that we have a better Life handed over to us from Christ, than they had. One mistake some people have made is actually to think that what we have is only as good as what man had in the garden. Well that's not true.
We do not have a life just as good as what man had in the beginning at the garden. No! What we have is way better than that. In fact, what we have is the best! We have the best life there could ever be. Christ died to give us the best! The God-kind of life. The resurrected life of Christ. The eternal life.
See Adam simply became a living soul. This means that so long as he remained in fellowship with God, he could not die. Well, that is great, but we have more. We don't just have life in us. We have the ability to give life to others, and other things around us! Glory to God! We are of the Christ-kind. We have the Life-giving Spirit in us. That's who Jesus Christ is, and that's who we have become since we came into Him.
We don't just live, we give life to dead things. Living is good, but giving life is best! And that's what we have in Christ. Hallelujah. Start functioning as a life giver today. Spread the life of Christ to those around you who don't have Him. Speak life into your businesses and activities. Live in the awareness of your life-giving ability, and see how much glory you give to God. You're blessed. Remain on the Word and in prayers. -TCF
