RETURN BLESSING FOR CURSES
1 Peter 3:9
not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
Many Christians believe they should only bless those who bless them, and then they can pray deadly prayers or rain curses on those who curse them. Some people say, "me, I'll just give him a piece of my mind. I don't care o". "If you insult me, I'll give it back to you." "If you look for my trouble, you'll get it from me!"
You know such pathetic and carnal expressions come easily from some Christians. That is not in the nature of God at all, and Christ doesn't want us to live the way. We shouldn't just bless those that bless us. We should also bless those that curse us. Why? Because we do not have any curses within us to give out!
We are blessed, we are a blessing, and we are called to inherit a blessing in Christ Jesus. Where do curses come in? No where! They come from outside of us. From Satan! We should bless only and curse not (Romans 12:14). Some people say, "me, I'll not curse you o, but anything you say to me, same to you!"
They think they're being wise, but this wisdom is worldly, sensual and demonic! (James 3:15). It's not from God at all! Refuse to curse people no matter what they do. You can't be affected by their curses anyway, so why curse them? You are full of love remember? You can only give what you have. Give love and blessings, because that's what you have. You're blessed! Remain on the Word and in prayers. -TCF
