THE TRUTH OF SUCCESS 2
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
So we saw from yesterday's teaching, that true success from God's view point (which is also our view point) is only a life lived in willful obedience to God's Word. And in accordance with His will. Because God was specific in Joshua 1:8. If you must make your way prosperous and have good success;
My Word must dwell richly in you and you must observe to live your life (every aspect of your life including your career, relationship, and personal life) by the Word of God and in the will of God. God doesn't lie, so if He says that that is success, then that's what it is. You now realise that the world has been deceived.
Many people think success is being rich, popular, famous, etc. But no! Success is sincerely living a life that fulfills God's purpose for you. And you can't find His purpose outside His Word. Because His will is found in His Word. This simply means no matter how rich you are, how famous you are, how well meaning you are, how much good stuff you do, if the Word of God and the kingdom of God is not your priority, then you're very unsuccessful.
God's will is always to advance His Kingdom somehow. Seek ye first the kingdom.... That in fact it's true success. Many people have called success what it is not. Because many things are really good, but they are not advancing the kingdom. Many people the world celebrate as successful are actually very unsuccessful, because they aren't living as Jesus Christ. Are you truly successful? This is deep, but we'll continue their m tomorrow. Remain on the Word and in prayers. You're blessed. -TCF
