2 Peter 3:18
But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
So you see that it's not enough to be born again and just remain at that babe level. Yes there is joy in heaven for the salvation of a soul. That joy is because they know that beautifull things await you in Christ. As you grow experientially by the revelation of God's Word, that's the increase in knowledge.
You get toughened and resilient at heart as you discover the mysteries of your reality in Christ. Apostle Peter says, "..but grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ". Get knowledge of Christ. There is more to know. There is more to be aware of. Do you really think that all you know is all there is to God?
Have you ever thought of what it really means to carry Christ (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) in you? Hey!! You have more than the world can handle. You like this! But have you bothered to be led into the deep depth of truth? The Holy Ghost will guide you into knowledge of you really want to grow.
He is even more excited to teach you than you are ready to learn. Just give Him your precious attention. Pick up books and tapes from trusted men. Get your scriptures. Start a journey of revelation and experience into the depth of God. The Holy Ghost will lead you in. That's how grace is multiplied. By growing in knowledge. Don't stop where you are. There's more to God than you know. And more to you than you see. There's a knowing that is Life indeed. Go deep in it! You're blessed. -TCF
