OUR WEAPONS-NOT CARNAL 3
2 Corinthians 10:4
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
So two things can make a Christian war with carnal weapons. One is putting trust in physical strength or sensual knowledge, and the second which is more delicate, is trying to apply spiritual things carnally. While a few Christians struggle with the first part, which is wrong, many others somehow are entangled in the second part. Many people pray with so much carnality in their heart. With fear, hate, jealousy, self pity, etc.
Sometimes this leads them to even curse others even with scriptures, or maybe wish just a little bit for a slight fall of another person. This is so terrible. Many times, people go ahead to quote scriptures that will support their carnal thoughts simply because they aren't living by the Spirit and in truth. These things make prayers and other spiritual activities less effective.
Also carnality in one's mind is an opportunity the devil can exploit. That's a huge negative. It doesn't please God. The way out is by being filled continually with the Spirit, and the continual renewal of your mind with the Word of God. Many people aren't conscious of this.
Because they ignore the Word, their mind easily gets corrupted with carnality from this world. Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the springs of life. (Prov.4:23). Seek to walk in love and live by faith. It'll really solve a lot. Don't jeopardise the reality of your victory by allowing carnality corrupt your weapons. Be wise! Remain on the Word and in prayers.
