Today the remains of Rev. Gomba Fortune Oyor will be laid to rest at his residence in Ibadan Oyo state.
Rev. Gomba is the father of the Oyor twins (Evangelist Lawrence and Godswill Oyor).
Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju, the Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oyo State, has described the death of Rev. Gomba Oyor, father of the Oyor twins as a great shock and a huge loss to the association.
Akinyemiju made this remark in an interview in Ibadan.
According to reports, Oyor, an Ibadan based deliverance minister and the General Overseer of the God-Will-Do It Ministries, Ibadan, passed on during the weekend.
Among other programmes, the man of God, who just celebrated his last birthday on July 18, is popular for his mentoring programme on facebook tagged, ’30 minutes with Dr GF. Oyor’.
Akinyemiju said his demise was sad because he had been a worthy resource person to CAN in the state.
“He was a man of God, who impacted on so many lives in and outside his ministry, we therefore, give glory to God for his life, a life of service to God and humanity.
He answered the glorious home call on the 8th of August at the University college hospital after a brief illness.
It has also been stated that all funeral rites will be virtually done in order to respect and obey the laws of the nation regarding to the COVID 19 matter.
“We pray that God grants all the mourners the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
May his Soul rest in peace.. Amen.
