BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR JOKES
Ephesians 5:4
Some Christians feel they should be careful with their confessions only when they are praying or talking to people on serious issues. So they don't mind and lose guard with moments they consider "less important" such as during a joke or just a side expression to maybe a movie or something. But we must not forget that every single thing that comes out from us, no matter in what way, be it seriously or playfully is a confession we are making. Even your jokes count a great deal in shaping you. Therefore you must be careful how you joke, and with what jokes you accept. Some people don't even realise that it is beyond only what you say literally. Even the things you write or post. Be they videos, audio files, written jokes, they're all a confession of yourself, and everything you confess goes on to shape your life.
Some jokes connote immorality, fear, laziness (to mention but a few) and people who repost or make them are actually confessing such for themselves. You'll account for every Word and confession you make be they good or bad. Even if it's "just for the laughs". Be wise. Matthew 12:36 says that men will account for every idle Word that they speak. i.e even those things you feel don't matter. They do! Let all your confession be positive and in line with God's Word. Don't be carried away with the Tik tok video trends, Instagram comedies, Twitter memes (to mention but a few) that don't covey the Word of God. Be wise with all you say, post or do. That's spiritual growth. Remain blessed. If you haven't accepted the life of Jesus, believe in your heart that He's the Son of God, and confess with your mouth that you accept Him into your life. Stay close to the Word. Remain blessed
